“Solar Command”

This is the last in a series of nine 3D collages made with found images and chiaroscuro.

These images are created as an illusion, base loosely on marionettes and paper theatres of childhood.

A bold torso sits in synergy with scarlet flag and striding feet of a woman. She is triumphant, unapologetic and direct.

This honours the outgoing assertive feminine. The balance of the assertive and sensual is the union on this oddesy of the erotic. Uniting the fractured energies, this is the finale to this series of emotive motifs.

A moving series, that holds different emotive states in each frame, alluding to the layers of heavy emotion that can block us from fully embodying our soul song in this life.

This is a reflection of a personal journey with my own experience of trauma at Adolescence travelling from fractured to unified eros.
