The shadows of birth are captured amongst this mysterious form. arms mistook for legs, a bright fan of white erupting in to the new and the third hand of fate working amongst the shadows, hanging on to the past.
This image is a shape shifter and the shadows that fall across it seem to waver, even when still.
The most tangled and physical of all these works to effloresce means reaching an optimum state of development when one must simply transform. Moving through the eye of the needle, the birth canal compresses on order to release.

Metamorphosis represents a full cycle of transformation.

The shadows representing the unconscious brought to consciousness. The shadow becoming a blessing rather than a burden.
Through the erotic cycle of something being birthed, an idea, an ovum, a chapter of life. There is a mourning of what is lost as well as a celebration of what has been gained.
