From Seperation to Unity.
This is the first in a series of 3D collages made with found images and Chiaroscuro.
These images are created as an illusion, based loosely on marionettes and paper theatres of childhood.
This first work is of the series is Called “Trauma Dance” it reflects the moment when sexual energy enters our lives within adolescence. This energy can fracture depending on what we experience around us at this time of becoming.
The shattered limbs and legs laid back ,symbolise the breaking of girl in order to become woman.
Floating amongst the current of an agitated erotic tide, erotic energy is a current that can create chaos unless we clear the channel in order to create from it.
A moving series, that holds different emotive states in each frame, alluding to the layers of dense emotion that can block us from fully embodying our soul song in this life.

The spell of shame’s shadow looms large over us, it stifles, and constricts, but also act to keep us safe.
Crossed exposed legs, jostle with deep black abstract shapes, obscuring folded arms that keep hidden the heart.
