“Erotic : Alter”

The fifth in a series of six, meditating on the organic mysteries of erotic energy. Expressing the journey of how desires are manifest in to form through this electric current of aliveness.

“Effloresce”

The shadows of birth are captured amongst this mysterious form. Arms mistook for legs, a bright fan of white erupting in to the new and the third hand of fate working amongst the shadows, hanging on to the past.

This image is a shape shifter and the shadows that fall across it seem to wave across it, even when still.

The most tangled and physical of all these works to effloresce means reaching an optimum state of development when must simply transform. Moving through the eye of the needle, the birth canal compresses on order to release.

Made with a combination of collage, chiaroscuro and photography.
