“Winds of Apathy”

This is the seventh in a series of 3D collage made with found images and Chiaroscuro.

These images are created as an illusion, base loosely on marionettes and paper theatres of childhood.

This seventh work in the series is called “Winds of Apathy”.

When we turn away from our emotional density we submit to stasis.

This image is a reminder to face our depths, so the winds of apathy don’t blow away our true fate.

A back is turned, while fabrics billow in the breeze. One foot instead of two holds our figure representing instability and the need for grounding.

Unexamined emotions, rule us and as Jung stated. “If we do not make the unconscious, conscious it will direct your life and you will call it fate”.

A moving series, that holds different emotive states in each frame, alluding to the layers of heavy emotion that can block us from fully embodying our soul song in this life.

This is a reflection of a personal journey with my own experience of trauma at Adolescence travelling from fractured to unified eros.
