“Hidden Magician”

This is the sixth in a series of 3d collage made with found images and Chiaroscuro of a series of the same name.

These images are created as an illusion, base loosely on marionettes and paper theatres of childhood.

This sixth work of the series is called “Hidden Magician”

Theatrical and dramatic, a spotlight shines upon a blindfolded woman, luxurious fabrics dance and sexual tension emanates from this scene.

What do we keep hidden from ourselves? The deeper most wildest dreams, this is where our magic lies, in the places we fear to tread.

A moving series, that holds different emotive states in each frame, alluding to the layers of heavy emotion that can block us from fully embodying our soul song in this life.

This is a reflection of a personal journey with my own experience of trauma at Adolescence travelling from fractured to unified eros.
