'“Divine Shame'“

This is the fourth in a series of 3D collage made with found images and chiaroscuro.

These images are created as an illusion, base loosely on marionettes and paper theatres of childhood.

This work is the fourth in the series is Called “Divine shame”.

Shame’s shadow looms large over us, it stifles, and constricts, but also act to keep us safe.

Crossed exposed legs, jostle with deep black abstract shapes, obscuring folded arms that keep hidden the heart.

An electric rainbow ripples up one side of the image, alluding to the erotic charge of shame and how we can step in to its inverse nature to express our deepest depths of guilt to transmute and transform them in the erotic realm.

A moving series, that holds different emotive states in each frame, alluding to the layers of heavy emotion that can block us from fully embodying our soul song in this life.

This is a reflection of a personal journey with my own experience of trauma at Adolescence travelling from fractured to unified eros.
